President of Ukraine Meets Microsoft’s Board of Directors ChairmanOn 28 January, 2005, President of Ukraine Victor Jushchenko met Microsoft’s chairman Bill Gates in Davos, Switzerland, where these days the World Economic Forum – 2005 was held. According to the press-service of the Ukrainian state’s head, the main issue of the meeting was the investment climate in the country.
In the course of meeting, Victor Jushchenko assured, that in the nearest future investors would feel the favorable changes. In his turn, Bill Gates said, that Microsoft is ready to extend its representation in Ukraine and expressed the intention to support education programs for Ukrainian youth.
To Bill Gates’ opinion, Ukraine has a high intellectual potential, which should be employed more widely. Chairman of the world leading IT company noted that Ukrainian businesses are worth investing to.
