Business models

Fixed Price, Time and Materials, Risk & Resource Sharing are generic business models employed by Mirasoft Group. To combine benefits of different models and create a productive synergetic project environment we usually tailor a custom business model for each client.

• Fixed Price model is used when the project scope is known and detailed requirements specification with a defined and understandable functionality is approved. From Mirasoft side project estimation is implemented, the duration and cost of a project are agreed. After that the fixed price and the fulfilment terms of the project with the fixed functionality are determined.

• Time and Material model is applied for projects, in which the scope of work can vary during the project implementation or cannot be precisely envisioned at the moment (e.g. when a project lasts several years). Mirasoft sells the time of the preliminary selected specialists and the customer provides payment for the performed work.
  
  

Contractual models

Depending upon the project scope, Mirasoft Group can offer the following delivery approaches:

• Off-site: 100% development at Mirasoft Group’s offshore software development centre in Ukraine; communication by means of phone, video conference, emails, instant messengers, etc.

• Part off-site: part of the project activities is performed at the clients’ sites. Typically, on-site work is reasonable in the initial stages of the project and in case of need of close communication.

• On-site: Mirasoft Group organizes a team of specialists for 100% development at clients’ sites.
  
  

Pricing

Pricing of a particular project depends on its complexity, duration and other factors. Generally our rates are 2-3 times lower than those charged by similar European or U.S. companies, typical for Ukraine, in general less than in Russia.
